Guided Visualization: The Six Preliminaries

In this selection of talks Dr. Neale provides instruction and guided meditation in the Tibetan method of mentor-bonding visualization. Following the classic Tibetan training pedagogy known as the Six Preliminaries (jorcho), learn to purify negativity, cultivate virtue, go for refuge, generate an altruistic aspiration, and enter into a bonding process with a visualized mentor guide.  Modern psychological explanations help clarify often misunderstood rituals and contextualize this ancient practice as an expedient form of psychotherapy that harnesses the nervous systems natural capacity for creative healing. Recorded live at the Tibet House.
