Scholar & Shrink Dialogues: Selflessness and Karma
Dr. Miles Neale joins Buddhist teacher Ethan Nichtern for an interdisciplinary dialogue in this four-class Buddhism and Psychology Series. During the first two classes they compare the nature of the self according to western psychotherapy with the often misunderstood subject of selflessness according to Buddhist psychology. In the second two classes Ethan and Miles explore Buddhist karma theory and the psychodynamic perspective on how our current experience is the shaped by the past. Each class begins and ends with guided meditations. Recorded live at the Interdependence Project.
