Tantric and Neurobiological Look at the Four Noble Truths

In this four-class series Dr. Miles Neale joins Shastri Ethan Nichtern for a novel, interdisciplinary look at The Four Noble Truths, the Buddha’s first teaching on the nature of human suffering and our potential for freedom.  Employing a comparative philosophical lens Ethan reinterprets the truths from the tantric perspective according to the Shambhala tradition, while Miles employes the lens of interpersonal neurobiology developed by Dr. Dan Seigle. Each session begins with a guided visualization of White Tara, the Healing Mother, and ends with a period of resting in the natural clarity of mind.  Recorded live at the Interdependence Project.
