Footsteps of the Buddha…

During our inaugural group pilgrimage to India we visited the power places associated with the Buddha’s life and teaching.

Sacred Sites Visited

Varanasi, longest continually inhabited city in the world

Sarnath, site of Buddha’s first teaching

Bodhgaya, site of Buddha’s enlightenment

Mahakala Caves, site where Buddha discovered the Middle Way

Rajgir, site where Buddha first taught emptiness and non dualism

A Living Master

We had the fortunate to received the transmission and commentary of the 37 Practices of the Bodhisattva from Geshe Tenzin Zopa along with refuge and Bodhisattva vows at Bodhgaya.

The Vow

Out of his extraordinary kindness Geshe Tenzin Zopa agreed to co-lead pilgrimages with Miles to Nepal in 2018 and Ladakh in 2020.
