Gradual Awakening Book Launch + Kopan Retreat

On the 2018 pilgrimage to Nepal, we took 30 pilgrims to holy sites associated with tantric adept Padmasambhava in the Kathmandu Valley including Swayambunath Stupa, Pharping meditation caves, and Pashupatinath charnel grounds. On the second half of our tour, we settled in for a week-long residential retreat at Kopan Monastery led by Geshe Tenzin Zopa who taught Aisha’s Lamp for the Path and offered us a ground-breaking refuge and Bodhisattva vow ceremony directly upon the Boudanath Stupa. During this time I also launched my first book, Gradual Awakening, at Kopan Nunnery amidst the chanting swirl of hundreds of nuns. — Dr. Miles Neale
